MRI Advice for Solicitors and Laywers

We have a long experience of medicolegal work, with a combined experience of over 2000 medicolegal reports, including attendance at Civil and Crown courts to present evidence.  Referral for a medicolegal Magnetic Resonance Imaging can be through an appropriate clinical professional or following direct referral from the solicitor.  MRI is particularly useful in situations such as a whiplash injury following a road traffic accident, when the presence or absence of a disc protrusion can be established. MRI is much more sensitive than a plain radiograph when used for the detection of early degenerative change following a traumatic injury, particularly when that injury has involved a joint.

We provide a rapid appointment and report.

Charges for medicolegal examinations are identical to our standard tariff (£250 for one area) but are subject to VAT. Films can be supplied if necessary, at a small additional cost.
